Got home tonight to find that my custom oil pan and pickup made it from order to my door in three days! Not too shabby. I decided to go with the Champ Pan and it looks like a very nice piece. The pan that I ordered was the CP100LTRB-RR with an additional hole for the LT oil level sensor.

This pan's specs without the oil sensor bung is: 7" deep rear sump oil pan, with 6 trap doors, 3 crank scrapers 2 runners, oil temp fitting and oil check level plug. The oil capacity is 8 qts. including the filter.

My last hurdle was the damper, and after much Ado about nothing, I ended up at ATI. For what I need and what was available there are not alot of choices out there for the LT4's and the ones that are typically are very limited in availability or the price is crazy! Here's what I ordered and it seems VERY large to me compared to the stock damper but it's suppose to be the right one. I guess Will should chime in on this one but this thing is huge! For those that are interested, this is the ATI #917269

The motor assembly starts this weekend and should finish up the following weekend. Most of the motor will get put together, but I'll have to wait a week to get the proper size pushrods on order and in. I'll take plenty of pictures and post as we make progress in the next two weeks. I expect to be done by the end of this month with everything.
