This beauty was picked up in February 2020. Completely inoperable, filled with spiders and debris, replaced misaligned front bender, shoddy wheels, zero electrical power, - but MINIMAL RUST on body. The engine bay, trunk, and most of the underbody was rust free, making it a perfect pony for a #mustangrestoration project. The first first thing that was done was pressure washing this beauty, and disassembling pretty much the entire interior. Disassembling the whole mustang came next. After getting her nice and clean, the real restoration began...
??
Parts used for cleaning: 3500 PSI pressure washer (can be rented from Home Depot) .

After power washing, disassembly began! Started stripping it as fast as possible. Removed the engine and tranny using a cherry picker, and unmounted the hood, fenders, and almost everything else - both inside and outside was completely stripped so that only the bare metal frame was left... .

Tools needed ?: cherry picker, car jacks, an assortment of wrenches and ratchets (mostly imperials 9/16, 5/8, 7/8, 1/2) and a few metric 13 - having a full set of each is recommended for this part), flat head screwdrivers, cable cutters, and wd-40 + Shop wipes. .

Nice work! Thankfully the body looked in decent shape to start with, lots of these are pretty rusty at least around here. Inspiring me to get a Mustang of my own!
