K&N Air Filter Installation (or other brand filter)

After buying the CC I changed the air filter as part of a tuneup.  Got a K&N filter for a little performance, but this procedure works for any filter.

Super easy, shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.

The only tool you need is a T25 torx bit and something to turn it with.

Step 1:

Open the hood and locate the airbox.

Step 2:

There are 8 screws to remove around the airbox cover, remove all 8. You may need to add some upward pressure to the screw to get it out of the cover.  There is also a plastic tube on the front of the cover that has to come off. Squeeze the ring around the end of the tube and pull to release it from the cover.

Step 3:

Lift the cover, the intake hose will come with it. Remove the old filter.

Step 4:

Make sure to remove any plastic covers before you insert the new filter :)

Step 5:

Put the cover back on and screw it tight. Pop the plastic hose back onto the cover. Your engine is now breathing cleaner air.
