The First Tesla Model Y Delivery will take place tomorrow, Friday March 13th! We have confirmed delivery times in Washington, Oregon, and California all taking delivery before the 15th. On top of this we know that the Model Y will be delivering to many customers from March 15-31st.
Deliveries are still not confirmed for any customers who ordered the Model Y AWD with 19 inch Gemini Wheels.
We have seen Model Y VIN ’s up in the 1700’s, up from the 400-600’s in last week. This means that Tesla is producing the Model Y fast, and it hopefully should ramp up quickly.
The Model Y with white interior has also began getting confirmed for customers. It seems that their production line it pushing these out next, and we should see more delivery confirmations throughout this week and next.
It appears that there may be a standard Model Y Tint on the Rear windows. We don’t know if this is just the performance or AWD models, but in all recent photos, it appears the tiny is standard for rear windows and back window.
Lastly, it appears that the Model Y Camera on the side pillars will have a smaller cutout, allowing for less sun to create glare which sometimes is an issue with the Model 3 camera.
