2021 Chevy Tahoe High Country - Big, Bold, and Refined

For 2021 the LS, LT, and Premier models continue with the addition of the RST and Z71 as their own stand-alone trim levels. The High County is now the new top-end trim level.

MSRP for the New 2021 Chevy Tahoe Starts at $50,295 for the LS trim up to an estimated $73,995 for the High-Country Trim.

This is the 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe High Country

The standard base engine on the LS, LT, Z71, RST, and Premier models is the 355-hp, 383-lb-ft
5.3-liter V-8.

The 420-hp, 460-lb-ft of torque 6.2-liter V-8 is standard on the High Country. Both carryover engines have replaced the active fuel management system of the outgoing model with Dynamic Fuel Management technology that can shut down all cylinders and use more than 12 modes of cylinder deactivation. The engines also have automatic start-stop technology.

There is an optional Duramax 3.0-liter I-6 turbodiesel available on all but the Z71. It produces 277 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque.

All models are Driven with a 10-speed automatic transmission

Out front there are Standard LED headlamps
There are Active front grille shutters that close at highway speeds to enhance aerodynamics

Along the side you can see that the wheelbase of the Tahoe grew by 4.9” to 120.9” and overall length increased 6.7” to 210.7”

There are 20” wheels wrapped with all-terrain tires. It's also available with adaptive dampers that are standard on the Premier and High-Country trims. The High Country and RST models ride on 22” wheels.

Both the new Tahoe and Suburban replaced the old rear live axle with a new multilink independent rear suspension giving you 40 percent more third-row legroom and 66 percent more cargo room behind the third row. The new multilink independent rear suspension also gives these new SUVs a far more comfortable ride than before.

Third-row passengers get 10 additional inches of legroom and the second-row seat now slides 5.6 inches fore and aft.

The 2021 Tahoe hasn't been crash-tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration or the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. But the new Tahoe does offer many driver assist and vehicle safety technologies.
