Arthur Hill is the spokesperson in this Mercury advertisement. Arthur Hill was the star of the TV show "Owen Marshall, Counselor of Law" which aired from 1971 till 1974. The Grand Marquis was completely restyled for 1974 and would remain basically unchanged until the 1979 model year. This features the "close the door and look at the seat not wobble test"? Now that's a test I've never seen before!!!! But clearly a sign of quality! lol This commercial also features older footage of 1973 Mercury vs 1973 Buick Electra
