Took her out of the garage yesterday to turn her around n start on the right side so...................as long as it was a nice day n the streets were dry I took her for a ride to see how the trans n 3.08 gear are. Trans n gear both worked great, was nice getting her out for a bit.
Got the cut n buff done on the right side, I guess she looks ok.........(he he he)..........

Here's a few pics with the tape n paper off. At first I was like OMFG.................it's not even close. But........................then I started thinking, not sanded, not cleared, not sanded, not cut n buff, so I guess it is pretty close. I even went in the house n brought Debbie out here to look, n she says it will be fine.![[IMG]](/uploads/users/3/2017/10/DSCF3362-1507571949.jpg)

After everyones tips and some searching I have come up with a little different game plan. I do not want this to come back n haunt me in a few years. So................I will be wet sanding the roof n both quarters with 600, then one more coat of color to blend better with no tape. I will not be using the blending solvent. Then clear the roof n both quarters. Then I will wait one week till I can cut n buff the whole mess.
I think we have success
First 3 pics are color blended with no tape
Next 4 are 3 coats of clear![[IMG]](/uploads/users/3/2017/10/DSCF3392-1507571950.jpg)
