I was looking around for a hiding place for my new Fastrak transponder, and I found a good one (NC). The bowl-shaped piece of plastic over the gauges is hollow, requires no tools to remove, and fits a fastrak transponder tightly without adhesive.

Basically, four plastic pressure pins hold it on, so just push in from the sides, and pull up. It will be obvious. Remove the velcro that comes on the transponder; it makes it too bulky. Then just shove the transponder into the plastic, and put it back on (the white in the center of the third pic is the transponder).
