- If you're going with a 2 lamp setup, buy the Hella kit, some butt connectors and call it good. If you are going with 3 or 4 lamp setup, you'll need extra wring and terminals.
- Optional items for either setup include the following:
- Wire loom
- OEM switch (for super clean installation)
- Heat shrink tubing
- Depending on how you're wiring, the only tool you'll need is a set up wire strippers. If you're going a more complicated route with more lamps or in depth installation, screw drivers are needed to disassemble the lights and wiring harness, and a heat source if you want to use heat shrink tubing.

This was a COVID Quarantine project for me so I took my time with it over the course of a few weekends. If you have all the parts and are ready to go, you could probably bang it out in a weekend, or even an afternoon if you're familiar with the car.
Wiring up auxiliary lights isn't that complicated, but in my case I wanted 3 lights instead of 2. This required beefing up the wiring unless I wanted to run two separate sets of wiring, which wouldn't have looked good. Because there are so many ways to wire auxiliary lighting, this is more of a guide than a definitive step by step instructional. The Hella kit makes it very easy to instal, and comes with everything you need (unless you want to get fancy like I did).
