In car video of my fastest session at VIR. The video starts as the gap lap is ending. Start/Finish is at the Tower of the South Paddock. Lap times are shown after each lap. *Language warning*
This was my my second time attack session on Saturday during SCCA Inc.'s Tire Rack Time Trials Tour at VIRginia International Raceway. This event was my first time at VIR.
I typically have speeds on my videos but even though the OBDII dongle was connected via blue tooth to my Garmin Virb camera (per usual) no data was recorded for most of the event. I'm still not sure why and it's a real shame. I would love to have known my top speed and speed through the esses. I need to invest in a real data collection system.
I did look at my speedo on the back straight just before the braking zone and I was almost to 130mph, but that was after a great T12 exit (which didn't happen every lap).

Speeds!
I managed to get only one session with speeds recorded and, of course, it was my very first & slowest session at VIR. BUT the speeds are straight from my car's computer (not gps) and the car has been calibrated for the correct rear tire size. All the other data displayed is collected from within the camera itself, may not be correct. The date and time are absolutely incorrect and I don't know how to change them.
My fastest lap this 1st session was 2:22 which I dropped to 2:16.1 later that day during my 4th session on track.

Great thread! I had a 2013 Mustang GT. I regret that I never got to take it to a track and really see what it could do. Looks like a blast!
