Cuttyman9's rides

What started as a cheap twin turbo z turned into a project I’ve had for 3 years, have driven once and dumped a ton of cash into.

It does run, last I started it it seemed to run a good bit better hand before.

I started with a mild bolt on 1991 z32 twin turbo.

It had dyno sheets proving at one point it made 300hp/350ftlbs at the wheels with a full exhaust (2.5”) 555 nismo injectors, charge pipes, twin intake kit (w/ dummy pipe) and wolf ecu.

I liked the car and bought it running rough for 2k knowing it needed injector cleaning at the least.

Turns out the bare minimum of maintenance was done on it and I’ve spent 3 years cleaning stuff up paired with upgrading/cleaning up the poorly designed systems under the hood.

I’ve removed the egr, deleted the iav valves in the fenderwells that pump air into the exhaust. I removed the cats so it’s now 2.5” from the downpipes out the back. I redid the gaskets on the top end and had a ton of stuff powdercoated to clean up the engine bay. I redid a lot of the hoses and lines in the engine compartment because most were in bad shape.

I switched to a selin dual maf setup and to an electric fan.

I corrected a lot of poor wiring in the engine bay and interior. The wiring harness is a new one because the factory one was in pretty bad shape.

I also switched to the biggest intercoolers made because the old ones looked pretty beat.

I installed a new hatch and drilled the locations for the stillen spoiler. I imported an abflug type 1 bumper that uses late model 928 porsche lights.

I imported led taillights to round off the improvements and updates. The body is sorta rough but it’s still all one color.

As for brakes I’ve switched to 6 pot brembos up front (ctsv kit) and working on 4 pots for the rear (srt kit)
