This is my 1979 Ford Courier. Many ask “wtf is a Courier?” Well its the Ranger before the Ranger. This one is an XLT or a knock down Sport model as it has the largest motor, the 2.3L Lima Ford inline 4 (same as the Pinto and Mustang), the 5spd manual and sport bucket seats.

Its RWD, manual everything and had the short 6ft bed. I call it The Chicken Truck because it was found behind a farm and its one of the famous Chicken Tax trucks AKA this is a rebadged Mazda B2300.

Overall the truck sits exactly as I wanted it too right now on the cut springs and blocked rear axel however, 2021 will be the starting point of putting the truck on hydraulics for both cool factor and a little more drivability. I also have a 2.3L Turbocharged motor from an SVO Mustang that I am looking to drop in the engine bay whenever I feel Im tired with the NA 2.3L thats in there now. Having a history full of VW's this has been by far the most refreshing project I have had to date

Sits really nice with those black rims, although I really dig the VW hubcaps.

Me too! I just have to figure out a way to install them so they wont fall off at speed and I am set!

This thing is badass. I wish they still made small trucks like this.

Love it. Don’t think I’ve ever seen one of these in the wild.
