The B body Plymouth Fury, back to a mid-sized car again was nearing it's end. The good news was that there was a sales increase In 1977 and sales of the fury increased 16% over 1976 with almost 95,000 cars produced. The Volare would rob more sales in 78, it's final year. In 75, Plymouth lost it's personal luxury car, the Satellite Sebing which was re-badged as the Chrysler Cordoba. Sergio Franchi was signing Volare, Jack Jones was singing New Yorker songs for Chrysler and now James Darren was doing the honors for the Fury. The Optional Lean Burn System they refer too in this car was optional equipment. Only the V8 Powered cars had Lean Burn. You could get this car with a 225 Slant Super Six and having 100 Brake Horsepower pushing a car weighing 3,600 pounds.
