Main ECU is heat shielded & installed. Engine leads roughed out.
The black box is called the Black Box its a small computer that drives the peripherals, fan, fuel pump, various sensors, instruments etc. The black shape to its right is the heater core & distribution points.
The rest of the snake pit attaches to various engine sensors, alternator, starter etc.
Once the lines are roughed out will neaten them up & clamp them in place.
Then its engine cooling, radiator, hoses, overflow tank & coolent. Finally put some oil in under pressure to pre-lube the engine.

Engine cooling system is installed which is the last major chassis piece. Rest is wiring & trim items so late Aug looks good for an engine start.
Wiring harness hanging on the radiator is for the front lights & turn signals.
Took some time out to rebuild the A/C system on the Xterra. Original unit did well lasting from 2003 to 2014.
