Looks like the car will be down by you on Oct. 10th or 11th. It is getting dropped off a detail shop to get a final clean. I will be down on the 12th or 13th to deliver it to you. When I get final confirmation on shipping I will let you know for sure. We had it setup with another shipper and they backed out so I had to set it up with another carrier. Sorry for the delay in the shipping.

The crown is stripped and on the rotisserie right now getting the frame painted and the undercoating done. I attached a couple pics for you to see where it's at right now. We hope to have it back on its suspension by the end of the month and then we will get working on the body and paint work.

We have an idea on a way to get AC in the Imperial without making it look like it was an add on unit. The stock controls would even stay in the dash, but would not be used for anything. The new unit would have a remote control. We are still working on the details of all what we would need for a kit but I just wanted to see your interest in doing it before we go too far with trying to figure it all out. We found this when we were looking for A/C parts for the corvette.

Let me know if you have any questions. Have a good night.

Here are a few pics of the Crown. Dave, our body guy, had a lot more time in the passenger side rear quarter than we initially expected. It had been previously repaired, it looks like it had gotten hit in that side and it damaged the body lines. Dave took care of it and you will never know it was repaired. He also had to spend more time on getting that straightened out because by painting it black, you would see any imperfection in the body work. There were also a few spots that had to be body worked more than expected due to dents and dings that had been repaired before, just like the right rear quarter. When were you planning on being here? Just want to make sure I am free to take you over to see the car at the body shop.

I didn’t realize these cars were full frame. That’s pretty cool. I assumed these weee unibody’s like most other mopars with a front K member

I’ve always been a fan of these cars. I would do one in a green hornet/pro touring style.
