720 83-86 SHIFT BOOT INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Remove one screw from each side as shown below.

2. Remove two screws at rear of console

3. With shifter in the far aft position, lift console up and back to remove

4. Remove the four retaining clips from the bottom by prying up the ends.

5. Fit new boot with the two longest flaps on the sides and the shortest flap to the rear. Fasten side clips first by folding the flap over the panel and pressing down from one end to the other as shown above. Pull the flaps out far enough so that the clip is close to the seam when in place. Fasten front and rear clips. 

Reinstall console in reverse order.

CONGRATULATIONS - YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED YOUR NEW LEATHER BOOTS!

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
