On a good note, we have ignition! We got her fired up tonite and let her idle for a few minutes. Joe should have a start up video up shortly. There is still a bit of work to be done in order to get her road worthy but he wanted to start her up to make sure the wiring is correct before putting the dash back in.

I was told that the bb option just wasn't worth doing by Jose @ Forced Inductons and later by several other racers that have tried them with and without the bb. I seriously doubt that he wil have any trouble building all the boost that he needs out of the hole. We will see soon enough how it works out. This car is not an all out race car built for class racing where you have to squeeze every last ounce of power within a set of rules. This is an all out street car that will go to test n tunes and the occasional track rental. If he maxes out this setup and still wants to go faster, then he'll just buy bigger turbos.

There are 2 pumps. I believe that they are an MP-4301 and 4303. The smaller pump was giving us some issues so we were running the bigger pump to fire it up.

Down pipes do not exit yet. They are currently at about where a header collector would be. This was just a fire up to make sure that the BS3 and all the wiring was properly connected. You can see in the video that the dash is still out also. so there is still some work to be done. He has to run all the vacuum and CO2 lines, wire in the AMS1000 controller, figure where to mount the vacuum log and AMS, figure out what to do about exhaust, run the intercooler water lines, and mount the ice/water tank. Pretty much all busy work from here on out. I would think that we can start street tuning by the end of this week and maybe go to the track by next wednesday for

We did some tuning yesterday. First time really working with the BS3. The real time stuff is nice but the inability to log for more than 30 sec is no good for drivability tuning. I also dont like that it doesn't give an error log by cell on the VE table for fueling correction. Apparently they also did away with the learning function that would make this type of tuning much easier in that it will get you close. Definetly geared for race only applications.

I got most of the part throttle cruising around pretty close but then when we went to make some throttle transitions by rolling into the gas a little, it was getting really really fat. Got out of it and the car started stumbling real bad. Took it back to the shop and it had fouled all the plugs. He had the NGK #9's in there with the non-projected tips. I suggested that we change to the #8's that I normally run. He inspected the plug boots at this time and found that a few were already burnt up even with the heatshield sleeves on them. He bought some new boots as the wires were too long and he was gonna remake them anyway. We also ordered some wrap for the headers and covers for the turbos. The under hood temps are pretty crazy the way that it is right now.

We got into some boost today. We were seeing about 8psi on the spring. Butt-o-meter says about 700 rwhp. Felt real strong. AFR's were all over the place and we didn't get to make as many adjustments as I would like but we didn't have much time.

PRI show tomorrow so it'll be a few days until we mess with it again. Getting there.
