While I was at the track Wednesday night, Steve was at Dave's house doing the cold side mods for the new intercooler. I swung by there around 2AM when they were wrapping up. Dave had to weld some tabs on the intercooler and then relocate a couple of the rods that attach it to the bumper support.

The passenger side plumbing lined up fairly easily from what they said. They also mounted the oil cooler (mounted flat and slightly offset to the passenger side top of the bumper support).

The driver's side 4" pipe proved to be a bit more difficult. They ended up cutting the top bar on the bumper support off, trimming and molding it to be used as a brace to the bottom bar.

Also, the Formula front clip is extremely tight because of the additional set of driving lights to the inside of the fog lamps. Because the charge pipe was already tucked up against the frame and couldn't go any tighter, Dave ended up cutting a straight slice off the corner and welding in a flat piece there. Shouldn't be a big deal as the charge pipe feeding the intercooler is only 3".

Finally got to take it out yesterday afternoon. Filled it up with corn gas and added some fuel to the VE table to help compensate. Car smells weird but it loves that ****. The first thing that we noticed is that prior to taking the car back down for the coating and the new intercooler, we were seeing 8 psi on the gage with the WG spring only. Now we are seeing 11 psi. Not sure if the extra heat that it is holding is doing it or if it's the larger intercooler. I doubt the fueling would have that effect since the AFR's are real close with both fuels.

We are going to do some real tunning this afternoon and tonight if the weather holds.

Great first outing IMO. First pass off the trailer 8.97 @ 153 on 10 psi with the filters on and everything launching with 1.5 psi of boost. Best pass was a 8.95 @ 155 leaving on 3.5 psi. Boner has the video. Having some trouble with the car going up too high when he tried launching at 6 psi. All in all, couldn't be happier. Congrats Steve! Post up the details. I didn't actually see the slips.
