Shift boot store

1. Lift the armrest to expose the entire vinyl boot. Pull up on the boot until it pops loose.

2. Slide the boot up over the e-brake handle. Peel the boot loose from the plastic frame and save the frame.

3. Line up the e-brake boot on the frame as shown.

4. Glue down the boot using an appropriate adhesive. 3M Super 77, Automotive GOOP - there are many glues out there and your local hardware store will be a good source. The glue should be epoxy-based and have a bit of cure time, so that you can make adjustments if necessary before it's cured.

5. Slide the boot down over the handle and snap the frame into place. Due to thickness of leather, you might need to trim it out slightly around the clips to allow them to fully slide into the respective sockets. If you find out that some of the clips don't catch - remove the boot again, and use a retractable blade, x-acto knife or similar to crim out the leather around them slight and try again.

CONGRATULATIONS - YOU HAVE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED YOUR NEW ARMREST COVER!

Useful tip

You have installed a product made out of genuine leather. As you know, to maintain a leather product in good condition, you should take care of it. We suggest occasionally (every 4-6 week for example) applying some leather conditioner/UV protector to keep your leather from drying up in the sun and cracking.
