I am really frustrated today, the place that painted the rear uprights last week and did a great job have ruined my front uprights. They masked off all the bores in the rear uprights with no problem but sand blasted and I assume used a barrel sander or something like that to clean out the bearing bores in the front uprights. The bearing is very loose in the bore and the bore is 007' out of round. I will need to buy new ones now, I am so frustrated with the guys, great job one week and the next week some of the worst work I have seen. Anyone else have these problems when getting other people to do work ?

You can see in the picture where they sandblasted the casting down in the bore, they painted it correctly down to where the bearing is (to prevent the major rust issue) but removed a lot of material from the bore! I marked and specifically mentioned that the bores could not be sand blasted. Now it is going to get expensive....I am really pissed

I hope to keep this thread interesting here is another one of my car/projects it's an 83 March I bought in 97 and have restored to this point. funds have really stopped this project and I have been more into the Subaru thing for the last few years. Then two years ago I bought a Impreza 22B and that definately put this project on the back burner

I have turned my attention to the interior this weekend and have finished detailing inside the car

Rear strut installed

This is another project I did recently. I added heat foil to the intake ducting and found a big reduction in intake air temperature which was 18 degrees cooler.

The pictures here don't do it justice, I used the Blue Coral upholstery cleaner and it has made the seats and carpet look like brand new. This is a great product, I used it fairly lightly, it foams up and I used two microfiber cloths to wipe everything down. There were a lot of little spots, specially on the black on the seats which get dripped on when it rains and seemed to leave marks because of this are now completely gone and the door panels look great. I highly recommend this product
