Wow. Over a year since I updated this. Geez, I'm a turd.

My clearcoat was chipping bad on the roof, hood, trunk, all the flat surfaces. I was attempting to paint it myself but after trying to fill the first 10 or so hail dents on the roof gave up because I didn't want to be sanding my life away. Took it by MAACO just to get a quote and prepare myself for the sticker shock of taking it somewhere decent. Found a decent shop that quoted me a decent price, dropped it off and let them do their magic. Side skirts were all scratched up, think I ran into a tumbleweed on my MD to CA trip a few years back. They fixed that and all the hail damage and other dents I had accumulated over the years. Came out looking dead sexy.

Lucky for me SubieWorks is in the same parking lot as the paint place. While my car was getting painted the AC o-rings decided they needed attention too. Drove it home from paint shop it was a little warm. Next day I went to take buddy to drop off his mustang at a shop and it was blazing hot. SubieWorks hooked me up. They do a lot of lifted Fozzies and even had an 87 4WD hatch in the shop when I walked by drooling.

Finally got around to swapping de-capped injectors for some more civilized Pinks. I found some "JDM Pinks". They are marked 08 222 3910 on one side and have the Denso D on the other. Not exactly sure which part number they are but they flow around 540cc which is all I need at the moment. I liked the de-capped ones but fueling is giving me a headache with tuning so I decided to go with better known less fidgety injectors. I wanted better atomozation too.

I made a basic injector pulser out of an arduino and some other basic components. Used the setup to test them a little and run some carb cleaner through the Pinks. The first run or two, both pulse and static, left some brown-ish used cleaner in the container I was catching it in. My setup worked, don't know exactly how well but some crap came out. I'm happy.

Working on tuning fuel now. I've got some FBCK just after CL/OL transition. I've got a couple ideas I'm bouncing off the good peoples of the RomRaider forums.

Also I was able to partake in the OCT 4 subifest event where they were attempting to breake the world record on longest Subaru only parade. It was kinda silly with COVID because if you had your windows down you had to mask up. It was cool though with all the silly COVID stuff going on they still made something happen. It was basically the worlds slowest autocross event. They coned-up the fair ground parking lot and we made zig-zag runs all the way through passing 3 22Bs, an S209, a BRAT with a cool camper backend, and got a photo of our soobies on the way out. They collected some monies for a food bank in the area and beat the record for longest Subaru Parade(think it was actually single manufacturer parade).
