Well for the die hard followers a little update, went down to MPS last weekend to pick up the Forester (daves old one) for my good friend Josh. Had a pretty good time except the drive back was possibly the scariest drive of my life.

Crossed the border back into Canada and it was torrential rain for about 2 hours into the mountains. As it started to go dark we had one good dry spell for about an hour but as soon as it was dark we had it again. Bad rain, fog so bad you couldnt see more than 50ft and no moonlight to help out. Once we got through the mountains we had to drive through a snow storm and lets just say there were a couple of butt pucker moments!

All in all a good trip out though, got to irritate Dave some more so thats always a bonus! lol.

Also picked up my Brembo GT brake kit so that should help slow the old girl down a bit, I cannot believe how much bigger this kit is than the Wilwoods. Pretty excited to try and stop

A quick video of the shop lol

Here is the Forester outside MPS

Speaking of Foresters, the gf and I bought our own as a winter vehicle! Got a 2009 XT loaded and threw on a few accessories, painted rims etc

The wilwoods sold in less than an hour, they are good brakes I just needed more.

The forester will be staying 100% engine stock as its our dd. Just exterior touches, the 09 WRX suspension should be perfect. Il be swapping the stock back in for winter for sure, it gets pretty crazy snow wise here in the winter.

The brembos are the gt40 kit, I don't remember the exact size tbh
