I picked up the MAPerformance header and had it modified by Fobia for EWG. The gate placement is similar to a configuration that BNM performance, but they are not taking orders until next year, so I had this all done locally over a weekend. The MAP header is a 4-1 merge design which lends itself to putting the gate directly on the header. Fobia made my previous foglight kitand this is similar to how he sets up the wastegate on that header so it was an easy modification.

The MAP header has very smooth bends and a formed merge section (as opposed to cut and welded). The fitment was perfect and the primary design made all bolts very easy to access with a straight socket and extension, except for one that I needed to use a swivel. The wastegate position was very close to the AVCS connectors and timing cover but it does clear. It has plenty of room on the radiator and frame rail side. It likely could be angled down a few degrees for extra clearance but I will re-evaluate if that's needed in the future.

I installed the GrimmSpeed wastegate bracket, put in new plugs (NGK 6619 LFR6AIX-11 IX Iridium gapped to 0.028"), and changed the oil. Then I swapped on some 17" BBS wheels, ran the gas tank down close to empty, and filled up with E85.
