After thoughts:
So after completing the video I went back out to check the vehicle. I decided to spend a little more time looking over the vehicle and attacking some spots over again. Now that I have done that I can say I am really glad I tried this DIY.
In the beginning I was a little nervous, but now I feel confident to do this task moving forward with my vehicles. I feel in some areas I was too soft with buffing out the initial sand and then the following finishing polish. Overall very satisfied with the outcome and look forward to updating with the remaining chips, and probably new chips I will get from my next 900 mile road trip coming up next week. Stay tuned!

Update: So I came back from my road trip and its unfortunately winter here in Michigan. We had a break where it was 60-70 degrees and I got to reapply my paint pen in the bad areas. Of course too, after my long road trip, pick up a few more dings.
Overview: Paint pen the ding and scratches that didn't work last time. The paint adhered but the next day it was back to winter and it suggests not applying the paint or clear when it is below 60 degrees. I will update once I have a break in the weather to apply the clear coat.
Other notes: realized there were a few spots I must have missed with the final buff wheel a their scratches were still showing. I rebuffed that areas and now you can never tell. In the future I would suggest fully buffing the entire panel, and having some good lights to really see all the panels completely.
