I ran into labor issues over the past couple months. I was going to have a shop shorten the Haltech ECU harness in the engine compartment. They didn't feel comfortable with doing that so I ended up doing it myself. I am now waiting for my tuner to have time to tune the car and make sure I didn't screw something up while rewiring the harness. Here is a picture of how it is looking now. Ready to start up.

I live in Southwest Washington State. Really close to Portland, OR in Camas, WA. This final part of tuning has really taken more time than I thought it should. Labor shortages have caused all kinds of delays. I really want to have the car done with the tuning and ready to be sent to have the interior done sometime in November. After tuning it needs to have the alarm and parking sensors installed/calibrated, a trip to the body shop.

As far as the budget goes, it is way over budget. I will be into this a little over $200k when complete. The only good thing about that is if I had a shop build the car to this level from start to finish it likely would have cost me over $350k. The other thing that makes me smile is the cost of the Cyan Racing 1800. At $500k it makes mine look like a bargain. I have more technology, power and in my opinion better style than the Cyan 1800 at less than half the money.

The car finally made it to the tuner on Sunday. I hope to have it up and running in the next few days. Video and pictures to come. As long as there are not major problems that is...……...

A minor ground issue back in the trunk. He didn’t like how I wired it so he redid the solenoid wiring back there. Totally unnecessary if you ask me but it does look a little cleaner than what I had. The real problem is that he only has a little time he works at it and then jumps to other cars. 

That is not completely bad since he also works a little on my Porsche 356 some as well. It is basically ready to start but he wanted to wait to do that until he could put the car on the lift first. Wants to be able to lift it and see if there is any leaks. My Porsche is currently on the lift.
