Installed a GROM USB + Iphone interface.

Took a day to figure out how to use it correctly but so far so good. I can say that the audio quality is superb! CD quality.

Works well on Bluetooth with the ipad and android 10" tablet watching films in the back seat with the audio coming out of the car speakers. Better than a cinema!

Further shopping for maintenance parts.

A pair of Monroe C2501 front shocks

A pair of xc90 HD strut seats

And I found a cool front grille locally

Replaced the front suspension today.

Again with the help of my trustworthy Swede friend.

Suspension was making massive rubber rubbing/squeak noise and performing very rough over road bumps.

One dirrrty looking strut

Clean around the mount points

Rattle gun + spring compressors help!

The very dirty strut cap. We cleaned this back to new and put lithium grease around the bearings

This yellow clip needs to be removed and reinstalled on to the new strut. Two little pins release clip

Original strut seats look well worn with stress cracks throughout.

New HD seats were installed

Result:

SOOOOO much smoother and better. All noise gone. 

Car is like brand new
