I needed to document the “sludge” or old windshield gaskets once I removed the trim. This stuff was narley, the upside was that I had zero rust beneath the surface which will help tremendously cut down on work down the road. Yellow drum brakes...can anyone guess what era this was most likely painted in? ? here’s a look at the tired rear end and suspension. Talk about road grime! The sway, shocks, and reversed eye mid leaf springs where all installed a long time ago and unfortunately wasn’t really used. My exhaust of choice will always be @borlaexhaust. They have an outstanding products and I absolutely love the sound that came out of these with a homemade X pipe. The rest? Next up! Working on the small tidbits with the front grill and side markers. @camilathe68cougar needs to shed a few lbs anywhere actually. I won’t be keeping the vacuum headlight flip ups/downs in order to cut a little weight with deleting the components. I like the @wild_wes_paintworks grill but it’s sort of blowing my budget (unless Wes wants to partner up ?)... anyway, Time to rebuild!
