You'll want about 150# worth of injector @ 43.5 psi to max out the turbo. You can either do a high imp or a low imp with an injector driver. I'm running a 120# low imp injector now but I haven't had it up to full power yet and I think it's not going to make it or be damn close. And just to get there, I'm going to have to turn the base pressure up to about 65 psi (from the 43 that I am currently running). When I ran the 8.9's @ 153, I was running a Bosch 160# low imp injector @ 43 psi but those things were the biggest pieces of **** ever. I couldn't get them to idle higher than 12.5-13:1 AFR.

Thanks

Finally got a chance to do some testing on the new setup.

Anybody that has been following along knows that since putting in the Holley Dominator ECU and the Powerglide, I haven't had an opportunity to do any actual testing at the track due to other issues. The other new development being that I am beta testing the new Holley boost control and took out the AMS 500.

I only got 2 passes in and I blew the tires off in the second one as I had a weak burn out and got a little too aggressive on the launch for the track.

This was on 13-14 psi. I'm good with it.

Just got invited to a track rental on Nov 20th so I'll likely see what she has in her then.

We had a track rental a few weeks back but I ran into a fuel pressure problem after the first pass. I was running the MagnaFuel 4301 (rated 1500hp) pump as was pretty sure that it was the problem as we have had a few fail. This one has already been rebuilt once. I went ahead and bought one of the new Holley Billet Dominator 2000 hp pumps. Took it out for a little beat run yesterday and logs indicate that I am still having the same problem. I'm pretty sure that it's the BRFPR. Seems to be losing the reference after it peaks. It's an old Aeromotive that is not recommended for the power that I am making so I will be replacing it in the next week or 2 with a Holley. Holley is giving us great pricing direct as a courtesy for beta testing the Holley EFI boost control and the feed back that we have provided for the EFI in general on the LS platform.

I also discovered a bad ignition switch that seems to be causing electrical gremlins. I guess at 14 yrs old, she's no spring chicken.

Nothing new. The car has been parked for a while. This time of year is just sooooo hot down here. I'm also having an intermittent electrical problem that I haven't had the patience to chase down which basically is cutting the power in the car for a split second at a time. Basically just enough to screw up a pass as it usually happens on the launch. Happens so fast that you can't even feel it while normal driving. It's a true gremlin.

I'm flattered guys. Thanks. Last couple years been rough on the business. I don't like blowing up my car unless I can afford to fix it. Between that and the scene pretty much dying for a while, just haven't been all that into it.

I will leak a little bit of info here, we have a prototype Dominator on LS2formula's car with the stock coils back in it. So far he has put 13 psi to it (all the street will hold) and not a hickup. Hopefully the weather will hold for some test and tune next week.

All donations are accepted at [email protected] Paypal. I need 2 Derale pushers at $140 each.
