Honestly!
I bought my new 2002 Z28 this winter with a Blown up Tranny and had it rebuilt. And since I "hate" STOCK F-Body's lol, I took the headers off my 98 to put on the 02 Z since I was upgrading to the larger 1 7/8" LT's. I just figured I'd throw the TD's on it until I bought the Y-Pipe I needed to put the SLP LM1 on it. Well After putting the TD's on it, my girl loves the way the 02 sounds and wants me to keep it on there.
And IMHO, I hate the way the 98 sounds with the 403 Stroker and the LT's/Y-Pipe/SLP LM1!
Without a cam, The SLP LM1 sounds GREAT, But not so much when you have a cam in it.
I have a lineup on another set of TSP TD's from my Brother n law though.
He's going to a catback system on his TA and wants my Y-Pipe and $100 So I'm going to trade him the Y and the money for his TD's.
I'm hoping to have them back on the car here soon. Only difference is he has the Sweet Thunder Mufflers instead of the Moroso Spiral Flow Mufflers that my set has. So, I guess I'll see which ones I like best here soon!

I'll post another sound clip of the car when I get the TD's back on it.
I may take 1 more of the car with the SLP LM1 on it while cruising... I just don't like it honestly. Sounds like $hit to me!

WELL JUST A SMALL UPDATE....

I picked up the MWC Fab 9" Rearend, PST Driveshaft, and Strange Rear Race Brakes today!
Also got the new Racetronix Fuel Pump and Hot-Wire kit in the mail on Friday!
Finally wired up the SJM Line Lock and replaced the old worn out Front Brake Pads... And I did a small Burnout in the garage to make sure it worked.

Heres all the pics I have for now! Just a couple quick shots to post for you guys' to see...

On a second note, Eric at MWC is an awesome guy to deal with. I can't stress that enough to you guys! Anyone wanting to do a rearend in their car, or ANYTHING as far as suspension goes, I HIGHLY suggest getting in touch with him. Honestly, He does top notch work!

I got a little bit more work done on the car... Heres an update!

And FWIW, I weighed the complete 10 bolt with the Brakes, Sway Bar, Brake Hose and lines, and the fluid in it, and it came out to 205 lbs.

I then weighed the MWC Fab 9" with everything on it. (Brakes, and fully assembled, But no fluid, no sway bar, and no brake lines.) So approx. 20 lbs worth of fluid, sway bar, and factory brake lines. And it came out to 186 lbs. So all in all, I don't really think I will gain or lose very much weight either way when it's all in the car.
*I'll prolly only gain a few more pounds over the stock 10 Bolt and Stock Tq. Arm Setup. But I am PERFECTLY OK with that.

Anyways, Here are some pics for you guys'

And here is a few pics too. And the last ones are of my baby-girl! "China"

She was Just chillen and looking cool!

Oh and those aren't MY Legs. hahaha
(They're A family members. lol)

That's whats getting some new mods. Should be a fun lil ride when it all comes together though. I'll fill you in when I decide the route I'm gonna go. Right now I'm still undecided on it.
