One awesome product! Lots of tuners find benefit and value in monitoring coolant pressure to understand why, when, and what effects changing coolant pressures have or correlate to with how an engine is being run and tuned. Some even say they can predict a blown head gasket and set up safeties to save the engine when such a thing does happen.

The best part about data is you can do what you want with it, everyone interprets it differently. But you can never have enough.

The Rife 52-1021 screws right into the factory LS cylinder head coolant port and uses a crush washer to seal just like the factory sensors. However, it has a pressure transducer and temperature transducer combined into one unit. This allows for monitoring in the front driver corner and the passenger rear simultaneously to compare, or one location only.

With a flying lead 18" section of paired wire, you can easily route the wiring to the back of the engine to meet up with any aftermarket EFI wiring. There are 5 wires in these sensors. 2 wires are for temperature (-20F to 300 Farenheit) and a 0-100 psi pressure transducer. We did not see a need when we set out to come up with this idea to go over 100 psi because if you are over this high of pressure you are past the point of needing to know the pressure. Keep in mind most cooling systems carry only 12-20 psi of pressure depending if it is a boosted application or not.

The sensors in this system are much more precise than other available sensors and are accurate to .5% and carry .075% repeatability and linearity. The pressure sensors are also temperature compensated.

As mentioned these can easily be adapted to work with Megasquirt, Holley EFI, Fueltech, AEM, Haltech, Motec or any other EFI system with configurable 0-5v inputs.
