Hey guys thinking of 'Carboning' my mirrors.
I took a look at them and they seem like they can be divided in 2 sections.
A top half (Square ish) and the bottom half. Seperate like audi mirrors

But instead of the brushed aluminium the carbon fiber.
What are your guys' opinions? should i do either half or the whole mirror?

But hey guys alooot has happened since my last update! (Switchback's / LED's / Wheels / other minor things)

OHHH!!!!!

I finally got my rear bumper painted!

But the current one I am working on is the CL Seat Swap.

Detailed here:

Looks Sweet!

Still have a bend in them so leg room is not impacted too much (Seats are only marginally thicker overall)

The only issue is that the 2 door has a handle that moves the seat forward for rear the passengers and it impacts the B-Pillar and kind of kinks the seat inwards a bit

And this is how much it kinks in comparatively

So Lets take them out and see what I did! Because I just put them in originally as a test fit. And it worked out pretty good!

So front bolts here at the bottom:

And the rear

And when you move it to the front to get to the rear

Make sure you move it back to the middle when you remove it so the rail isn't all out of proportion and when you have them in your living room and your biggest friend comes over and then flattens the rail that sticks out because you were excited about the seats and wanted him to sit in them too long and then flattened them and your heart

Then lift up

So extremely luckily I had a 2003 TL and got some seats from a 2003 CL so then everything literally was plug and play for the driver seat

Disconnected:

And now is the part where you Scratch your Steering wheel and fandangle them out (somehow )

And Viola! And boom you find a mountain range of coins and this is the only mod that you can actually make you money!

And now even YOU can live the hella flush life in your car!

So now we can clean!

I used the leather wipes first and then applied the cleaner with the pad. Then applied the conditioner, rubbed in with the brush and then cleaned again and then condition again until your hands wont work any more.

So while I had the CL seats in my car and I noticed that the seatbelts don't quite fit into the CL and the designs are different.

It appears that the connections and wires are all different and so I got a better look:

and another confirmation pic

But the Connector pis are the same and plug right in

Another pic just in case

And as for the wiring on the passenger seat I had to rewire it all!

Used the wiring diagrams that FSTTYMS posted in this thread here (link)

I will also post the 'repinning' that I did later on. I only had to do the passenger because the seats came from a 2003 CL and I had a 2003 TL. (just pure luck)

So do try Lexol and it worked great!
I took this comparison picture and though it didnt show up that well the differences were really obvious

Also

This was the mods that I did to break in my new place! lol

Look at that! Forget a center stage TV (we couldnt afford it anyway) lets get a ZR1 Wheel!

Roommate works at brembo so we got a bit of Manly man decoration going

Yay!!

So Yea, Ill post more info as it develops!

But currently I am having an issue with the SRS light (yes Ill check the DIY to figure out how to reset it and see if it goes away)

And the Seatbelt light not going away even when I plug it in (Driver's side issue only, as I unplugged the passenger side and light was still on )

And the Heat is not going up all the way in the Driver side CL seat to the back (going to probably rewire them using that $3 thread!

But hey guys alooot has happened since my last update! (Switchback's / LED's / Wheels / other minor things)

OHHH!!!!!

I finally got my rear bumper painted!
