Well, long story short, I took the car to the dump today...

I used their scales to weigh it. How embarrassing, time to go on a diet. It weighed in, fully fueled at #1660. I guess all the 18 gauge sheet metal I used added up. On the bright side, I did make the chassis stiff enough. I have no twisting issues.

Ok, 6 years later! I think this summer is paint and body time.

I plan on a dark green with a fair amount of metal flake. I think I will do a silver rally stripe in the chameleon paint that appears and disappears depending on viewing angle.

I want to do the undercarriage, underhood, and interior in silver metallic. I want some contrasting color for the suspension bits. Any suggestions on what would compliment my planned paint scheme? I don't think black is it, not sure if yellow would work....

Money is not an issue, but not sure if chroming it all would be practical.

Well, go figure, Amazon Prime gives me photo hosting! NEVERMIND, it isn't working when I hotlink.

I have the whole tub in primer. No shots of the bottom, but it is done as well. I am hoping to shoot the silver tomorrow.

This is a great build with so much time and effort put into recording in words and pictures. Can you help me with this question please, Is the top arm inner pivot point is in the same place as the original pivot point? Regards Davy
