Thanks guys. The plasti-dip is strong enough to be used for stripes as you can see with my car. What you have to do is do the strip and then allow it to dry and cure to the paint for at least 5 days. It will be dry after a day but it wont have cured to the car by that point. Once it has cured to the car then you will be good to go! Mask them off and once the car is painted take the tape off as soon as you can so the plasti-dip doesn't dry over the tape.

With the grille I took the original radiator protector and painted it. I then took the badge off the rubber bumper and welded it to the grille to make it look like a real grille and not just the inner protector. Since I didn't cut off the bumper supports it was perfect because it is shaped to fit around them.

I went back to Arizona last week, left the Midget with the guys at MG Limited in Milwaukee. When I returned, they had replaced my headers and ZS 150 with something magical. The new SU's are amazing and the headers are as well! Just revolutionary! Not only do they look great, they perform better than they look. If you are still running a Stromberg carb, get that pos out of there as soon as you can.
