Holy hell, I’ve reached 5k followers ? thank you guys so so so much! I got a *mustang update* from the shop. Essentially a few months back I took my mustang to the closest local shop to check a brake issue I was having I couldn’t resolve. Unfortunately an inexperienced tech took the hood of the car off, ruined the hinges, and messed up the paint. It was also stored improperly so covered in paint chips throughout. I had to find a shop that specializes in classic cars for insurance, and found @westcoastbodyandpaint who is now handling the repairs. They have to do a paint job, fix the hungers, and do body alignment with the hood. It was pretty bad. Luckily the paint shop I got the paint from is close by and I kept a small amount in a pot so they were able to reformulate it. Should be a few weeks until it’s done! If anyone has a brake shop in Los Angeles or the SF valley that works on mustangs or old fords please lmk so I can tow it there after! Just passed the 1 year mark of ownership and I’m eager to finish up the interior and get runnnninnnnnggggg ???

This picture gets me both excited and terrified. Lol. The paint job done nearly a year ago is no longer. All those places with lighter primer indicate where damages occurred on the mustang and need to be covered up. I’ve been a bit scared about the paint not matching. All I can do is hope it does ? anyway swipe to the last pic for a little surprise ?Have any of you had to get your paint redone on your car or Stang?
