Well, I stopped by the shop to drop off the head gaskets along with fluids and snapped some pics. First time I laid eyes on her in two months.
There's some sludge buildup on the valves and pistons due to oil being burnt in the chamber (seals failed and let oil in). This is the reason Damon could not put much timing on the car and we kept getting KR. Headers are going on so the tune will need to be finished up and adjusted for the headers as well.
Hopefully she is on the road in two weeks. We are getting the block back from the machine shop this week as it had to be cleaned up a bit. The spun bearing caused slight bruising.
Damon, let me know if the weekend of 01 July is good for you to finish up the tune. I plan on heading down to the autobahn so we can get this thing dialed in.
