This was a pretty good weekend, EVO-wise for me. I was able to knock out a few small projects that have been ankle biters for me.

For starters, I was able to spray paint my Cusco radiator shroud, fuze covers, and valve cover a nice Old Ford Blue. In my opinion, they all came out pretty good. I will post pictures around Tuesday as I need to allow the paint on the valve cover to set a bit more. It also helps that the southern Arizona sun is doing its thing.

The second thing I was able to do is start trying the new Amsoil Z-rod motor oil. At this time, I am still running the Amsoil engine break-in oil for about another 500-miles and then I am going to give this a shot.

The last thing I was able to do was install the Kiggly Racing HLA. Straight up, the installation for this part is insanely and ridiculously easy. It is so easy in fact, that it might make you second guess that you actually did it correctly.

And for grins and giggles, I could not resist a nice picture of the GSC S2 camshafts glowing in the sunlight.

In the next two weeks, I am thinking about installing the Torque Solution short throw shifter.

Fellahs,

I need some help and I will pose this quiz to each of you. Can someone please tell me what this part is called as I need to buy another? Thanks in advance.

I went to a local tuner (same as the person that did the installations) first in order to get a baseline tune done on the car and to make the 100-mile drive back home. Now I am at the point to finalize the process in the wake of my current tune issues which I knew would surface again, being a baseline tune. Yes, you told me about Tom as his popularity continues to amaze me. I am/was a bit nervous about the e-tune route as although I am an Intel officer by trade and familiar with gadgets and widgets, I was/am still a little nervous about putting my skills on the line with "x" money invested in Megatron. Believe me, I want him to be strong and I am discussing things over with Tom via email at the moment.

None of that stuff is anywhere on any computer of mine, my friend. That could cause me to lose my security clearance. I know I am in good hands and will be taken care of. I am working with Tom to get things started no later than Saturday for the 91-octane tune initially. As for us having the same build, that is true and at this point 600whp and 450wtq on E85 would be my final goal for Megatron.
