Inching foward...
Out of Sat and Sun i only had about 1 full day of maro time. Me and the wife had previous arrangements to go over a friends house Sat afternoon for a little get together. And on Sunday the thunderstorms threatened on and off all day. On Sat i wanted to get epoxy primer on all of the welds on the L/S rocker, both of my floor patch panels and to make it worth while to dirty the paint gun i decided to strip the header panel and prime it as well. Here are a few pics of that work.
Heres a few pics of the cross members and rear frame rail on the drivers side cleaned up treated and shot with epoxy primer.
Then i began to install my donor rear seat patch panel, after double checking the fit i ground all the weld points and began to weld it into place. Once welded i ground down all of the welds and put a coat of temporary primer on all of the exposed metal. Its not as much as i would have liked to get done over the weekend but i guess something is better than nothing. Thanks for stopin bye to check out my thread. Weekday progress..
I had to go to DMV today to take my CDL written test and left work early. The test didnt take to long and i got home early. So I break out the welder and start to weld in my toe kick patch panel. I was able to weld it inside and out and ran out of time so grinding will have to be wed night i hope. Here are a few pics of the toe kick welded in place. Next up will be the drivers side floor pan once the toe kick is finished.![[IMG]](/uploads/users/3/2017/10/14eb64262d4988cf15cd_1-1507572252.jpg)

A little more weekday progress...
I had enough time to do some grinding on my welds from last night, on my toe kick. Once that was finished i began the drooling task of fitting my repo floor pan i got it pretty close but it still needs a little tweaking before the welder comes out. I was starting to run out of day light this is where i left off.

Floors are done....
WOOOHOO floors are finished... Metal work that is... I started out drilling all of the weld points and cleaning all paint from around all of the weld holes. Then i welded the e- brake bracket and what i believe it is the brake line bracket onto the new floor pan.
After fighting with the floor pan what felt to be a few hours i finaly was happy with the fit and began to secure it in its final position with vise grips and cleco fastners.
Heres a few pics of the pan tack welded in place and the panel welded all the way around.
And here a few pics of most of the grinding complete on my drivers side floor pan.
I did leave a little extra weld on the inside for strength being it will be hidden by the carpet any how.
Thanks for stoppin bye to check out my work Rob

Thanks guys..... still have a little more grinding on the underside but boy am i glad the floors are basicly done. Aron i probably have that e- brake brkt on my donor if you dont feel like making it, i will have to see how good a shape it is in if your interested. 81 Camaro You can do the same if you put your mind to it. I think its more determination than talent, I do alot of research and will practice something new until i feel comfortable before trying it on my car. You learn as you go, this is my first attempt at a resto on any car and so far im happy with the way things are turning out. But when it is done you can say I Built this car, Not that you paid someone to build it for you. (Braggin Rights) Rob
