After I got my 33's with my ION 174 rim backspacing I had to get wider fender flares in order to be legal here in utah. I liked the look of the pocket style flares but I didnt want to spend all the money on a set of flares. I found some new flares on ebay for $200 less then the bushwhackers so I ordered them but after a year they started to just fall apart so that was a waste!
They were a super cheap thin plastic that would crack from the screw holes when the tires would rub against them and they were warping and really wavy from the sun so bad I could see in between them and my jeep body and mud would spray right threw.

So I decided it was time for some new ones! My Buddy got the bushwacker flat fares for his XJ and I really liked the look of those so I found a great deal on some from streetsideauto.com and I ordered a set.

They fit great and I really like how they look! They are super sturdy and I and REALLY happy with how they install and mount with all the screws hidden.

They also came with orange side LED markers for the flares to replace the side factory marker light but I have got rid off all the red and orange from my jeep with clear marker lights and black LED tail lights so I really didnt want to add the orange plastic back on. I went around to all the different truck and lighting stores in town but i couldnt find any clear with amber LED diodes that were thin enough to fit in the factory bushwacker flare cut out. I talked to bushwacker and they only carry the orange so I called the light manufacture who referred me to a website online ledtrailerlights.com who is a jeep guy they said that could order them from them (the manufacture) and so I called him up and they send me a set. I got them in and installed them and I am SO happy with the clear version. I super glad I waited for them to come in.
