Now that I have most of my Switches Wired up and with how much I love the look of my OTRATTW Custom switches I decided to move my scanner down into the factory center console so I can show them off and have better access to them all.
It took a bit of trimming which lead to a bit more and then a little bit more but I got it!
Only problem is a realized I cant easily reach it to mute out channels, oh well, so ill keep thinking of where to put it

The Past little while ive been looking around at some different fender replacements to swap out for my Bushwacker Flare, because ive never really been a fan of how wide they were on my Jeep and I really like the look of full painted flares. Plus Bushwacker prices are through the roof right now so ill be able to sell those in the almost perfect shape there in to help offset the cost. So After looking at all of the different options that are out there for a TJ I decided I liked the GenRight Tube fenders the best hands down!
Ive been keeping my eyes open shopping around and getting some quotes and estimates from Genright. Then they had there Black Friday specials which they let me combine with my current estimate and the black Friday freebies so I just couldn't pass it up and called to order them that day.
The fenders came in and I could believe how exact and impressive the CNC cut designs and holes were and how immaculate the welds are! They are super sturdy and well built now I just cant cant to get them on.
I had a couple questions about the marker light kit that I got with it and the inner fender placement so I was talking with Cameron the UT GenRight rep who invited me over to show me and to help with the install. It worked out perfect because I didn't have all of the tools I needed for the install up here at school. So we set a time and got together to put them on.
Fenders in the Back all loaded up heading to put them on!
The install was quite the process so I was super grateful to have someone who knew exactly what they were doing.
We stared of course by pulling the old ones all off.
Back down to the Body
Then because I didnt get the aluminum inner fender replacements we used teh template to cut off the edges of the factory fenders that the GenRight Fenders slide right over.
The Cutting begins.
Im not gonna lie i was a littel bit nervous at first to start cutting part of the body away and seeing sparks go flying haha So I let Cameron, do the honors
After the Cut
The next part took time forming the inner fender edges and timing some of the metal braces behind to allow it to fold up for the New fenders to slide on.
Then just bolted them up the the factory holes of the original fender we cut off and there you have it!
The Rears were much eaiser! you just decide exactly were to place it and then drill 4 new holes and attach it with the factory hard ware included and your all done!
I love them! They look awesome already and give it a lot meaner look especailly from the front. Now I cant wait to get them painted to match my factory Blue color. There gonna look sweet!
I also ordered online to match my clear and black light look, two replacement clear/ Amber LED 3/4" front markers that im gonna install like I did on my bushwhackers!
Great build!
