wow. it's been a long while to post as i have been working 13-15 hour days for the last month. a couple of weeks ago i noticed that a was missing a drivers side front wheel cap. did not think much of it as i have two extra's and proceeded to just put another one on. well, today i heard all kind of weird noises. i put it up on the jack only to find that the wheel bearing was shot due to the fact that the axle broke of at the spline that holds the entire wheel hub assembly. i have never seen that kind of failure. it was the nut that shot off and that was how i lost the center cap. so now, i need another tire, wheel bearing, hub and alignment. has anybody esle seen such a failure? i was told that i would/might break axle with the extra power from the vf kit, but who knew this kind of failure was in my future. i think i still have a backup hub and spindle, just have to look for it. this sucks as the car will be down for another week or so until i have time to repair it.

finally got around to ordering some parts today from james at fourseason tuning. he is such a pleasure to work with on getting stuff for my car. next set of mods to be done, a tt downpipe and removing the cat for a testpipe in its place. also gonna try a 3 bar fuel pressure regular to see if there is any benefit to the way it runs. also gonna put in a new o2 sensor.
