and then, i did not do the right procedure on the top chain tensioner and now sh*t up the head, cams, and guide. if practice makes for perfection, i am just about as practiced up as i can stand....start over on the top half.

parts on order and should receive them on friday. thank you again james at four seasons.
parts needed to fix motor:600.00, used head:200.00, parts trashed 1600.00, hours needed to fix: 15, stupidity factor: priceless...... .

hello all, i got most of the parts friday. i really wish that i would have used the updated timing chain tensioner that i got from james at four seasons tuning, the new design would have made it imposable to over tighten the upper guide. they totally fixed the problem of bleeding the tensioner the way that i did, and then sh*ting up my motor. thanks vw dealership for not offering the newer version to me.
anyway, i now have my fenders on the car back from the body shop. A-1 collision here in sumter, sc does some the best work i have ever seen. i am considering not to use the stealth bumper skin and going back to the oem. anyway, i guess the parts will be in for the build to resume next weekend. bye for now.....
