Magnuson messed up by giving me 3 hangers that are 5/8's of an inch deep, what I need are ones that are 1 1/4" deep. Everything else is on Arrington. I ordered this on July 11th. The fuel pump, tune, and badges should have been ready in 5 weeks, in fact I was told it would ALL be ready in a month.

A little update. This install should have taken 2 days but will now take 2 weeks due to parts. I'm sure anyone here understands my frustration but SOME good did come out of this.

I want to start this off by saying how great Arrington's support has been through this nightmare. 29 fuel pumps have just been coated for E-85 and one is being sent out to me. I have the tune and tuner for the install. The badges are being sent out. The hardware for my dogbone is being shipped out. <<<<<< These are all of Arrington's responsibilities and they are taking care of it.

Arrington is also dealing with Magnuson. It seems I am the guinea pig for the latest and greatest kit for the 2011+. So there are a few parts missing, a few parts that are not the right size, and a few extra parts that don't belong in the kit at all ( brackets for power steering cooler, harness extentions, nuts, bolts, etc.)

FYI if someone is gonna get a 2011+ kit you need to verify a few things first.

*The belt for a 8lb kit is 99 5/8". The 6lb kit is 100 5/8"

*Make sure you have a 3/4" "T" coupling for the driver's side coolant plumbing. It connects the heats exchanger to the intercooler and T's off to the coolant reservoir.

*The upper rear inlet of the coolant reservoir need to be capped off. The cap was not in the kit and should have been.

*The hangers that mount the heat exchanger to the condenser need to be 1 1/4" deep, maggie sent me out 5/8".

I informed Arrington of the issues and the sales manager Alex thanked me and told me he has received numerous calls about the same issues but I was the first to bring this up. It seems that maggie reinvented the wheel but forgot to make it round. Since a few customers have already had the same complaints make sure to double check this short list I made.

Well the car is running. I have been waiting two weeks for missing parts and 6 weeks for original parts. I had to go out and just buy what I needed which is not right. If anyone is reading this and is thinking about getting a kit I would seriously consider KB or Edelbroc.

The car runs well. Good street manners, no check engine light, everything looks good, and everything sounds like it should.

I spent a lot of money on a kit that wasn't complete. I spent more on additional parts. I will have to spend more on a pulley remover too because even though I ordered an 8lb kit the unit came with the 6lb pulley on it. I still don't many parts... been 2 weeks on some, 6 weeks on others. The last time I talked with the shop was on Tuesday and they had no answers but said they will update me on Wednesday with a phone call or e-mail. Still no phone call or email but hopefully on Monday.
